Cohort Conflict Avoidance 9

Minimize time overlaps between courses in the same cohort semester.

Faculty Preference Honoring 8

Respect faculty time-of-day and day-of-week preferences.

Single-Section Before 2:30 PM 10

Ensure single-section required courses are scheduled before 2:30 PM.

Back-to-Back Same-Course Sections 6

Schedule multiple sections of the same course in consecutive time slots.

Special Faculty Constraints 10

Honor hard constraints like "no classes before 10 AM" or specific day-off requests.

Prime-Time Distribution 7

Penalizes clustering too many courses at popular times (9am, 10am MWF; 9:30, 11:30 TR)
